Bhagwan Singh is writer who has published more than a hundred articles and around twenty books on as diverse subjects as Linguistics, history, culture besides some novels and collection of articles. He is generally identified as author of Harappa Sabhyataa aur Vaidik Sahitya, The Vedic Harappans ,landmarks in ancient Indian history and his novel Apane Apane Ram, reinventing the Ramayan episode. His most ambitious project is Etymological Glossary of Indo-European terms tracing the rudiments down to primitive dialect that evolved into the link language of linguistically diverse components of the broad Harappan Society (Rigvedic Sanskrit as its literary manifestation and Sanskrit as its standardized form) that diffused through the trade network of Harappans, to give an illusion of Indo-European family.
